Music affects the heart and it is the heart that is the bridge the doorway to the soul.   Thus great music is called soul music cause it energizes the soul.  But honestly, all music moves the soul but not all music uplifts the soul.  that is my mission daily whether recording producing or singing with one of the greats is to uplift the moment the experience to the next level that lifts the soul and lightens it. Even in vocal master coaching it is the lighten and lift the soul of my clients so they can their voice and do the same.

Music becomes so surface and heavy to the soul.  You have to come from that special place to touch that special place we call the soul.  It starts with the heart.
